It was good. I liked the premise and the characters. I really enjoyed the "magic" aspect. The relationship between Rose and Lissa was more than simple friendship, they felt like family and it added something to the aspect of Rose guarding her. Dimitri is exciting and mysterious all at the same time, no wonder he drives Rose crazy. I will continue with the series.
