"I'd let my father down more times than I could count, but this was the Big One. This was humiliation, disappointment, and disillusionment all wrapped together, tied with a big red bow of disgrace."
I really enjoyed everything about this one. Faythe finds herself in a pretty dire situation. She learns an unforeseen consequence to her rebellion against the life her Pride demands. In dealing with the pain of the abduction, she is also learning to be one of the best enforcers her father has. Things with Marc are getting better. Her two years of servitude to the Pride seem like they will be bearable, but an unexpected phone call and a werecat killing spree change everything and in the end, Faythe may loose everything. With several twists and an important cliffhanger at the end, I can't wait to pick up Pride.
