Cat and Bones are always wonderful, this was no exception. There are several twists in the story, including Justina becoming friendly with a ghoul, Tate becoming a vampire, and an accident involving Bones. It was a fast paced, balls to the wall, out for blood, action packed story. Cat learns that some vendettas are never fully paid. When a scorned lover, seeks revenge, she not only goes after her sire, but everyone associated with him. Knowing the threat Petra is and the war that is brewing, Mencheres joins an alliance with Bones, thus making Bones and Cat, the number one targets on Petra's list. Loved every page of this one.
