"She had also learned that every time she tried to make someone aware of something in her life, the situation just got worse. Consequently it was up to her to solve her problems by herself, using whatever methods she deemed necessary.”
It starts off rather slow. I must admit that it was really difficult to get into at first, but once Mikael got into the investigation, it picked up rather quickly and was hard to put down. I will say that there are a few places where the detail is a little hard to swallow, but they are brief and it's easy to keep reading. Lisbeth was a great addition to Mikael's team and I really enjoyed her character. The mystery is both intriguing and full of twists and turns. It was very easy to jump to conclusions and the actual events were beyond shocking. Great book and I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy.
